Palermo: “La Gente demostró que me quiere”
Fue el hombre del domingo. Todas las miradas estaban puestas en él. HabÃa pasado una de las semanas más difÃciles de su vida por un problema personal. Pero MartÃn Palermo sabÃa que tenÃa que estar en el debut de Boca ante Banfield. Se entrenó diferenciado, pero igual cumplió, como siempre. “Estoy tratando de seguir el camino. Hay que superar este momento. Solamente tengo palabras de agradecimiento para todos por el comportamiento. Desde el periodismo hasta la gente, todos estuvieron muy bien, les agradezco el respeto”, dijo Palermo en Radio La Red.
“La decisión de jugar es de uno por la manera de pensar o sentir las cosas. Pensé que lo mejor era demostrar que todo continúa. QuerÃa estar y fue fundamental el apoyo de mis compañeros, de mi señora, del cuerpo técnico y de los dirigentes”, siguió.
“La esperanza me da fuerza para seguir. Va a ser una oportunidad para vivir lo que uno soñaba. Esto me hace ser más fuerte en la vida, y lo voy a superar como superé muchas complicaciones”, contó, ilusionado, el máximo goleador en vigencia del fútbol argentino.
Luego, fue el tiempo de conversar sobre el partido con Banfield, y Palermo explicó que se sintió “contento por el funcionamiento del equipo“, y destacó las actuaciones de Neri Cardozo y Guillermo Marino.
“Los dos tienen condiciones y lo demostraron. Los vi bien. Neri tiene buen manejo y aporta mucha dinámica. Se atreve a gambetear y puede llegar al gol. El Flaco Bilos era más potencia. De Marino hay que rescatar que en todo momento pidió la pelota, la quiso siempre”, elogió el Loco.
Luego, destacó el funcionamiento colectivo de Boca. “Por ser el primer partido fue perfecto, aunque tenemos que mejorar algunas cosas“, advirtió.
En el final, contó cómo hace para mantener el apetito después de haber conseguido tantos tÃtulos con los xeneizes: “Guillermo, Battaglia, Ibarra, Delgado y yo ganamos mucho y ese hambre se lo transmitimos a los más chicos. Queremos quedar en la historia del club, que es el más grande. El convencimiento tiene tiene que ser grupal, acá no hay relajación ni conformismo”, afirmó.
